1st Girls’ Field Hockey
After a week and a half of rest, the 1st Girls’ Field Hockey team was raring to explode on the field against Havergal College this Wednesday. The players pushed their opponents to the limit on long, wavy grass and were happy to listen to the relaxed ribbings of our favourite referee, Ed. Four goals were scored before half and LCS owned them all. Havergal fought hard for the entire second period and managed to squeak in one goal just before the whistle. Congratulations on a strong win!

1st Boys’ Soccer
The 1st Boys' Basketball team took on Toronto French School on a beautiful fall day at The Grove this Wednesday. The boys were looking to bounce back from a tough draw against UCC a week prior, and they started strongly with two goals from Eli Shannon. Both were set up by Bennie Lueders. The LCS boys wouldn't look back after taking the lead by adding four more goals in the second-half. Tristan Walsh assisted Jack Campbell with a pretty passing play before Jack returned the favour and set up Tristan for LCS’ fourth goal. Robin Anstoetz would smash in a beautiful 30-yard strike with his left foot before Gabe Lalancette tucked in a sixth off the underside of the crossbar. The final score read 6-1 after a very strong team performance. LCS will look to carry this momentum through to next Wednesday's match away to Crestwood Preparatory College.

Jr. Boys’ Volleyball
The Jr. Boys’ Volleyball team travelled to Toronto French School to play a doubleheader against Toronto French School and The York School on Wednesday, October 13.  The boys started slow, losing the first match against TFS 2-0 (16-25, 17-25).  They responded in their 2nd game beating TYS 2-0 (25-18, 25-23).
