Entrepreneurship in Toronto

By Elliott Exton '11

On Saturday, November 26, seven members of LCS’ Entrepreneurship Club travelled to Ryerson University to compete in the Ted Rogers School of Management Retail Case Competition.

This year’s case challenged the students to design, market and present a plan for a Joe Fresh pop-up retail location. Their presentations and ideas were coached by Ryerson professors and current retail management students.

Nicole Tsicos, an Acquirement & Recruitment Consultant with Joe Fresh, gave a talk on resume building and the key skills required to succeed in the retail sector. It was a great opportunity for LCS students to develop their case analysis techniques and presentation skills for future competitions and university-level business courses.
