Although the LCS campus is temporarily closed, learning at The Grove continues!

Learning with Lakefield ensures that learning continues as we shift daily academics at school to remote learning at home for all students. We are embracing this new opportunity for our students to continue to learn in authentic, engaging and meaningful ways.

Remote learning grounded in community and relationships

Learning with Lakefield is our collective community's response to the situation we find ourselves in today. Together, our program leaders and educators have developed a plan to take what we understand our strengths to be as a learning community at Lakefield, and offer it remotely.

Our goal is to ensure that the learning of our students continues and that we are excellent in three areas:

List of 3 items.

  • Academics

To support our students in reaching their individual potential as learners, our teachers will work with their students to explore the best pace and format for learning remotely. At the same time, they will offer academic learning opportunities that are authentic, challenging, and relational.
  • Co-Curriculars and Clubs

We are committed to offering a well-rounded program including a rich variety of co-curriculars that enable us to continue to inspire well-rounded leaders who can be artists and athletes for life.
  • Community Relationships

To reinforce and support the rich quality of relationships that exist among our faculty, staff and students, we are committed to providing community engagement opportunities that connect and support our students in personal ways.
The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you. — B.B. King
