Description: There is no doubt that making the transition to university, while an incredibly exciting time in one’s life, is also one that is filled with demands and obstacles. Successful navigation of these challenges requires life skills that aren’t taught in traditional curriculum. Using the latest research and science from the field of positive psychology, students taking the Thriving at University Module will learn practices to help them be more resilient and adaptable in making the transition from high school to university, skills everyone needs, especially when dealing with times of change. Students will build positive lifelong habits that will help them move beyond merely surviving university, and instead thriving while there.
