The Canadian Boarding Scholarship
The Canadian Boarding Scholarship recognizes Grade 9 students across Canada for excellence in academics, athletics or the arts, as well as leadership, character and community contributions.
Process to Apply:
- Submit a written statement describing why you are interested in attending LCS and living in residence.
- Upload your most recent school report.
- Provide a reference letter from a teacher or administrator who can speak to your character and readiness for boarding life.
Criteria for Renewal
In order to maintain the Canadian Boarding Scholarship in subsequent years, recipients are required to:
- Attain an overall academic average of 85% or above.
- Obtain no lower than 75% in any individual class.
- Maintain a standard of good behavior and citizenship, as determined by the school’s expectations for community living and student conduct.
