Pride Week at LCS

This past week, LCS celebrated its first Pride Week. The week was organized by Kit Wright ’19, Sophie Gray ’22  and Claire Campbell ’19, student members of both Safe Space and THRIVE, who shared a communal vision of promoting equality and fostering inclusivity.

Throughout the past week, activities included chapel speeches and rainbow cupcake decorating as well as interactive banner-making. A huge success for the group and the wider LCS community was selling out of LCS Pride shirts!

The students have been thrilled with the success of Pride Week and the chance to give the entire school community the opportunity to learn, challenge and be supported.
