We were excited to welcome day parents to campus to see firsthand how the school is preparing for our September re-opening! While our campus may look a little different, these developments support a new priority: Safety First.
Head of School and Foundation, Anne-Marie Kee began the evening with opening remarks then, parents were split into small groups, each led by a member of the school's Leadership Team. Parents toured around to key locations, including Residences to see new outdoor furniture and social seating arrangements, our new Dining Hall configuration, and the outdoor dining tent in the OE Courtyard. Parents also caught a glimpse of the Chapel and how it is organized to facilitate academic learning with the addition of Harkness tables. The tour included a stop at our on-campus COVID-19 CARE unit where will have dedicated nurses specifically trained in COVID-19 care.
Tours for Grade 9 and 10 parents were held on Tuesday evening, followed by a set of tours for Grade 11 and 12 parents on Wednesday evening. In total, over 70 parents joined us on campus this week to ask questions and learn how we are planning for the best possible experience for our students while prioritizing safety this year.
