Reminders and Important Requests for Parents

  • Please ensure that you have completed all eRegistration forms for your child on the eRegistration system. Your child cannot participate in their Orientation unless the General Informed Consent form (Grades 9-12) and the Algonquin Expedition Consent form (Grade 12) is submitted.
  • Please do not plan to move your child into your residence prior to the assigned date and time.  We are unable to accommodate boarding students who arrive early.  A list of local accommodations are available on our website
  • Please note that there is no possibility of storing possessions for students prior to Opening Day.
  • Please ensure that medical forms are up-to-date and forwarded to the school PRIOR to school opening. In order to provide safe and responsible care for your child, we cannot allow students to stay at the school without this vital information.
  • Please ensure that your child has the proper classroom dress uniform and Number One Dress for the beginning of the school year, by logging into the Top Marks website with our school code LCS01 and ordering online. You will find sizing charts, a catalogue showing the various clothing items available, and Frequently Asked Questions with answers on their website. You may also contact Top Marks by phone 1.800.667.7105 if you require assistance in purchasing uniform items.  It is particularly important for Grade 12 students to have their Number One Dress during Orientation Week, as it is required for grad photos.
  • All personal clothing and belongings (books, iPods, etc.) should be labelled. This will really help us with “lost and found” items during the school year. School uniform items delivered to LCS will be labelled by Top Marks.
  • Please do not send your child to school with valuables or large amounts of money.
  • Students may bring other school supplies (binders, pens, paper, etc.) with them or purchase these at School Stores.
  • Subject teachers will issue textbooks on the first few days of classes.
  • Each student should also have some kind of “book bag” or knapsack for taking home schoolwork, etc.
