  • Alumni Chapter President

    • Organizes and chairs monthly Grove Society: Alumni Chapter Executive meetings (held monthly during the school year)
    • Supports the Alumni Chapter Chairs to set and complete goals, in alignment with the Grove Society mandate
    • Liaises with the Grove Society: Parent Chapter and the school, fostering cross organizational relationships
    • Attends monthly Grove Society Executive meetings and provides updates on chapter initiatives and events
    • Holds a trustee position at the school participating in two trustee meetings per school year
    • Acts as an ambassador for the school and Grove Society – providing assistance in volunteer recruitment
    • Develops and tracks the Alumni Chapter budget
    • Encouraged to attend all events including Fall Fair, Alumni Dinner and the Going Grove Grad Dinner to get in touch with returning alumni as a Grove Society representative
    • 15-40 hours per month, 2 year term
  • Co-Chair of Communications

    • Attends Grove Society: Alumni Chapter meetings (held monthly during the school year) and provides updates on behalf of Communications Committee
    • Guides the timing of communications to LCS alumni and constituents
    • In conjunction with the school’s communications representative, develops and updates the alumni communications plan to help guide promotion and recruitment for alumni initiatives. Provides analysis for alumni by decade and/or stage in life.
    • Acts as an ambassador for the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter
    • 10-20 hours per month
  • Co-Chair of Events

    • Attends Grove Society: Alumni Chapter meetings (held monthly during the school year) and provides updates on behalf of Communications Committee
    • Coordinates the organization, planning and execution of events through the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter Event Committee, ensuring a lead is responsible for each event
    • Provides support to event leads including creating and following timelines, committee structure, outreach to vendors, budget management, etc.
    • Work with the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter Executive to create an annual schedule of events. 
    • Acts as an ambassador for the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter
    • 10-20 hours per month
  • Chair of Volunteers

    • Attends Grove Society: Alumni Chapter meetings (held monthly during the school year) and provides updates on volunteer recruitment, KPIs and needs
    • Recruits and interviews potential volunteers with the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter
    • Works with Grove Society: Alumni Chapter Chairs to determine volunteer resourcing requirements
    • Tracks volunteer participation and hours on a monthly basis
    • Acts as an ambassador for the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter
    • 10-15 hours per month
  • Event Lead

    • Leads a team of volunteers to run a specific event
    • Reports monthly to the Grove Society: Alumni Chapter Chair of Events on planning, budget and event status
    • Working with the Chair of Events and committee members, develops event theme and timeline
    • Researches and contacts vendors, venues and third party service providers
    • Attends Event Committee meetings monthly (or as needed)
    • Provides onsite event support and coordination
    • Liaises with the Chair of Events on budgets for events as needed
    • Time commitment will depend on the nature and the breadth of the event
