Celebrating our Writers

Grade 10 students, Nicole Liu, and Jeewoo Lee, Grade 11 students, Liam Davidson and Teresa Saller, and Grade 12 student, Emilia Voudouris have earned places of recognition in the very competitive and well-respected, Lakefield Literary Festival Young Writers' Contest.

The Lakefield Literary Festival attracts country-wide attention and admiration. The writers who are featured during this festival are renowned. For example, novelist and poet, Michael Ondaatje, is coming to the festival this year.

Nicole, as the winner in the Junior Non-Fiction category for her piece, "Pain," is invited as a person of honour at a special dinner during the Festival this summer.

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
