Co-Head Goals for the 2020/21 Year
Our 2020/21 Co-Head students, Jack ’21 and Catherine ’21, developed a set of goals for the school year ahead and shared these with our community in Chapel:
- Being creative and encouraging adaptability in the school community. The grad class has done a fantastic job so far this year in hosting fun, safe spirit events for the community and helping everyone to enjoy school life. With this goal, they continue to aim to offer creative opportunities for students to get involved in fun and safe activities.
- Make winter time at Lakefield a more positive experience. The warm fall weather allowed many opportunities to use our beautiful, natural campus for outdoor fun and learning. The grad class plans to continue this momentum into the winter season with fun and creative ideas to make it enjoyable. They will make the outdoors a more accessible place to hang out along with fun activities such as a House Christmas decoration contest.
- Increase interconnectivity within the school. Recognizing the challenge of socializing between peers in different grades or residential houses, the grads are working to ensure that students have every opportunity to connect with one another. Our grads are also starting a new initiative to connect with the Grade 9s and become a friendly face for talking to.
Jack ’21 closed by reminding our community: "It is important to remember the good things we have and the great people we are surrounded by. I think we need to continue the best we can to have an open mind while making sure we look out for our friends and ourselves."

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.
