Lakefield College School to Host OFSAA Nordic in 2022
LCS is proud to announce that we will be hosting the OFSAA Nordic Skiing Championships in 2022! After unveiling our new 900m sprint track earlier this year, this announcement comes as added excitement to our Nordic Skiers and the LCS community.
OFSAA is the provincial championship for high school athletes in Ontario. Hosting this event is particularly exciting because it is a larger scale athletic competition. We expect to see over 750 student athletes on our campus, whizzing around our sprint loop.
We’re thrilled to partner with Kawartha Nordic to make this a reality for all the skiers in Ontario. Kawartha Nordic will host the distance events, while LCS will host sprint events.
We look forward to seeing all of the student athletes compete and give their best efforts at OFSAA Nordic in 2022.

Students from around the world have an opportunity to experience all that a Canadian winter and our beautiful, natural 355 acre campus has to offer, including over 12 kilometres of groomed and backcountry ski trails, as part of our Nordic Ski team.
