Lakefield College vs. Ashbury College Running Challenge | Getting Outdoors Every Day

At Lakefield College School, our goal is to inspire our students to get outdoors every day in order to deepen their connections with and to nature and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. When Ashbury College challenged us to a running competition that would require us to spend more time outside, we didn’t hesitate to participate!

For the past two weeks, our staff and students have been running and walking in an effort to complete more kilometres than Ashbury College. The competition ended on May 3, 2021 with LCS completing 5,295 kilometres and Ashbury College completing 7,024 kilometres. Congratulations to all of the runners and walkers who participated in this running challenge!

We applaud everyone who took the time to get outdoors and move their body. And a huge congratulations to Ashbury!

We’d also like to issue a special congratulations to our leaders in the LCS vs. Asbury running challenge.
