February Break at LCS

Last week, 88 students stayed on campus for the February Break, enjoying a fun-filled four-day weekend, jam-packed with activities. Our on-campus students enjoyed a classic Canadian winter activity—dog-sledding through the snow-covered woods! For most students, this was a new experience and one they will likely remember for a lifetime.

The crisp winter weather also made for great Alpine skiing and snowboarding conditions. Our students trekked to Brimacombe and Blue Mountain ski resorts to hit the slopes and practice the skills they’ve developed on Matthew’s Hill at LCS.

After enjoying these outdoor activities, students were ready to warm up indoors with some golf at the golf simulator, a shopping trip to Yorkdale Mall, a stop at Foody World and a cooking class. It was great to see students recharge their batteries and relax together after another month and a half of hard work.
