Athletics Action | The First Games of the New Year!

It was a busy and exciting week for athletics at LCS, as our teams all had big games on the schedule.

Our 1st Boys' Basketball team took the court and put on a strong performance, ultimately coming away with a hard-fought victory against Trinity College School. The team's fast-paced offense and stifling defense were on full display, and they played with great intensity and focus throughout the game.

Our 1st Boys' Hockey team had a tough loss in their match against St. Pete's in the Saints Classic tournament. The team put in a strong effort but was unfortunately unable to come out on top. However, this experience will serve as a valuable learning opportunity for the team as they head to Montreal for a 3-day tournament at the end of January.

The 2nd Boys' Hockey team also had a great showing on the ice, losing by just one goal against a tough opponent—Holy Trinity School. The team's speed and skill were evident, and they played with great teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our 1st Girls’ Hockey team had a fantastic win against Holy Name of Mary College School with a final score of 5-0. The team played with skill and determination, leading to a well-deserved victory. Congratulations, team! Your hard work and dedication have paid off.

Overall, it was a successful week for our athletic teams, with students showing great determination and skill in their respective games. Well done, athletes!
