Running for a Cure

By Alaina Connelly

On Sunday, October 4, 180 LCS students and staff woke up early and headed to Del Crary Park in Peterborough to participate in the annual CIBC Run for the Cure. The event is focused on raising awareness and money for breast cancer research.

Students, staff and other community members, decked out in pink, ran or walked 5km to help raise awareness.

A special thank you to everyone who participated and donated to the cause. As a school we raised over $1,500 that will go directly to Run for the Cure.
