MO Bros and Mo Sistas Unite

By Mo Bro Doucet

The LCS Mighty MOs embarked once again on the MO trail raising funds and awareness around men's physical and mental health. We had our staple events - Tape and MO Bro/Sista to the Wall, MO Bake Sale, FireTruck Pull and MOlar Bear Dip but this year we added a Flash MOb! Approx 30 students and staff practiced and performed LCS' first ever Flash Mob as a Grande Finale to the Movember 2016 campaign. Watch the Flash MOb video online (due to Copyright Laws we couldn't include the song in the Wrap-up video on YouTube), and the MOvember 2016 Wrap-up.

Currently we sit in 3rd place among more than 170 high school teams, just behind St. Andrews College by $150. If you want to donate to the LCS Mighty MOs - you still can! All donations are tax deductable!

It has been a Movember to Remember. It was a true team effort! A huge thanks to everyone who participated and helped organize the events, as well as everyone who donated to the cause of "stopping men from dying too early," Movember is about raising funds and awareness around prostate cancer, testicular cancer, men's mental health and the importance of physical activity. Let's all talk to our bros and ensure that we can enjoy their company for as long as possible.
