A Spirited Week

By Jessie Wootton ’17

Spirit Week 2017 was one full of cheer and excitement, with both student and staff participating. Spirit events were held all week long in which students played for paper house points.

To kick off the week, we started out with Pyjama Day, where students played “pin the tail on the sheep.” Rocking into Tuesday, we had a Guitar Hero competition for Hippie vs Metal Day. Wednesday saw the cowgirls and cowboys of LCS come out all decked in plaid, jeans, hats and leather boots. On Thursday, everyone chose a side in the battle of Heroes vs Villains Day where students used their super brains to solve riddles. For the last spirit event of the week, we decided to relax with some limbo and ukulele lessons on Aloha Day. The annual K-Rod competition was the perfect way to end off Spirit Week, leaving students excited for more events to come this year!
