Discussing the Real Issues

By Dayna Taylor
The Model UN team has returned from an exciting four days in Toronto at the University of Toronto Model United Nations (UTMUN). Our student delegates did significant research in order to accurately represent viewpoints from all around the world, discussing important issues such as refugees, economic crises, and climate change. We are extremely proud of all of our delegates, but would like to wish special congratulations to Liam Cole, who won the prestigious Best Delegate award for his work in the World Health Organization, and to Thomas Demoulin, who was given an Honourable Mention for his work in the "Brexit" committee. It was an incredible conference, and our team is already looking forward to UTMUN next year!
