Bowling for a Good Time

By Derek Doucet
Ryder House and Memorial House decided to embark on an evening of fun! We got on the bus last Friday to head into Peterborough for a competitive game of bowling. Everyone donned the ever stylish bowling shoes and tried their different techniques, whether it be spinning the ball down the alley, rolling it straight down the alley or reversing backwards through the legs, everyone had their own style.

There was a lot of excitement, a lot of gutter balls and most importantly a lot of laughs. One the top scorers with 150 points was Eluid Villareal followed closely behind in second place was Charles Jobin with a score of 140 points. The top bowler for Memorial house was Claire Martin who showed a mix of both technique and grace as she led all female bowlers with a score of 138 points.

It was the night that we'll not soon be forgotten and activity that we hope to revisit again sometime in the spring.
