Enjoying Winter

Thursday, February 8  was a spectacular winter's day and what better way to spend it than at Northcote for our annual Winter Carnival!

Students travelled to the Northcote Campus to get outside and enjoy a Canadian winter day. It was an afternoon of sleigh rides through the woods, campfires, hot chocolate and s'mores, snow dodgeball and football, sledding, roasting marshmallows, and maple candy!

Many Grade 12 students spent the morning setting up the fires, grooming the sledding hill and getting the s'mores and maple candy ready.

As students and staff arrived after lunch, the sun was shining and the snow was sparkling as the teams of horses and sleighs wound their way through the forest.

It was a great afternoon for everyone!
