The Last Hurrah of the Year

The last social event of this school year, the Senior Formal open to all Grades 11 and 12 students was held at Elmhirst's Resort on Rice Lake on Thursday, June 14 where limosines, party buses, taxis dropped off more than 200 students and staff at the resort that evening.

The students and chaperones were treated to delicious appetizers and punch to start the evening. Photographs were taken by Simon Spivey and Josh Humber all throughout the evening. Around 7:45 p.m., everyone sat down to a wonderful dinner followed by an amazing spread of desserts. The venue was elegantly decorated and there was a wonderful energy as students talked about their past year and enjoyed the food.

After dinner, everyone headed back out for house and group photos along the boardwalk. All too soon the evening ended and the limos whisked away the students.

Many thanks to Nikki Cannon, Rebecka Carrillo, Rachel Leung, Claire Martin and Anna Natsu, along with the School Life Class for organizing a terrific formal that was enjoyed by all.

More photos are posted to the LCS Facebook page.
