Learning from Our Alumni

By Jennifer Browne

This year, the Guidance Office, along with the Grove Society Alumni Chapter, is welcoming members of our community to connect with our students about their career paths, education and the day-to-day aspects they encounter in their chosen fields.

Our first set of talks began this fall on September 28, when we welcomed back Melissa Zubrickas ’08, Gillian Dunn ’04 and Emma Trottier ’03 over the lunch hour to speak with our students about their career paths. Gillian spoke about her path to the post-production field of film and animation, Emma spoke about her experience as a parliamentary procedure manager, and Melissa spoke about her time as a Registered Nurse at a local hospital.  We so appreciated their willingness to share their stories with our students and their openness in answering the students' questions.

Thank you Melissa, Gillian, and Emma for sharing your time and wisdom with our students!
