Grad Class Gift

Grad Class Gift 2014

We are well on our way!

Follow the progress of the Class of 2014 towards their goal of 100% participation in the Grad Class Gift! And, be sure to check out their Video Challenge to Grad Parents!

The challenge has begun for the Graduating Class of 2014! Led by Co-Head Students Jaron Kaller and Hayley Shortly, this year’s grads are planning their gifts.  As a class, they are challenging themselves to continue in the excellence of the past 8 years by participating 100% in the creation of a Grad Class Bursary.

Under the leadership of Co-Head Students Hayley Shortly and Jaron Kaller, every graduate will donate $20.14 (in honour of their graduating year) toward the Class of 2014 Bursary. In this way, graduates are giving back and doing their part in helping to support the 1-in-4 LCS students who receives Financial Assistance. In addition, many are choosing to top-up their gift with $10.00 that will go toward the purchase of a special gift for the school: to be revealed in June!

For more information, students wishing to contribute to the Class of 2014 Bursary should contact Adam Bishop at 705.652.3324 ext.366.

Attention parents of graduating students

The Grads have issued a challenge in the following video! Grad parents, they’re asking YOU to match their overall class gift as an incentive – but only if they reach the 100% participation rate! The Grads took some time to ponder just how important Financial Assistance is at The Grove, and what life would be like on campus if those 1-in-4 students weren’t able to be here!
