Casual social events held through out the year for alumni community to network and learn. Each event has a theme. Previous events have focused on technology in the arts and how to effectively use LinkedIn
Why we do it:
To gather friends of Lakefield College School and the alumni community to help foster alumni networks and advance alumni careers.
How you can help:
Attend and bring your LCS friends and classmates to network with other alumni and learn helpful information to advance your career
Volunteer with the Grove Society to help organize events
An annually held evening social event organized by Grove Society: Alumni Chapter exclusively for the Lakefield Collage School alumni community to gather, network and have fun
Why we do it:
To promote and sustain relationships with the school and the alumni community in a fun social setting
How you can help:
Attend and bring your Lakefield College School friends and classmates for a great evening out and dinner with your fellow alumni
Volunteer with the Grove Society to help organize the event
A program for alumni to create a support network of relationships that has the ability to provide advice and guidance that is appropriate at various stages throughout their lives
Why we do it:
To help alumni in pursuit of their career and life goals
The duration and nature of each Mentoring relationship is determined between the mentor and mentee. Contact can be made via email, in person, phone or video conferencing
The Grove Roots Committee meets briefly twice a month to review matches. The time to monitor relationships will depend on number of relationships the committee member agrees to oversee.
