Organizes and chairs monthly Alumni Chapter meetings (held monthly during the school year)
Supports the Alumni Chapter sub-committees to set and complete goals, in alignment with the Grove Society mandate
Liaises with the Grove Society: Parent Chapter and the school, fostering cross-organizational relationships
Attends monthly Grove Society Executive meetings and provides updates on Alumni Chapter initiatives and events
Holds a trustee position at the school participating in two trustee meetings per school year
Acts as an ambassador for the school and Grove Society, providing assistance in volunteer recruitment
Develops and tracks the Alumni Chapter budget
Encouraged to attend all events including Fall Fair, Alumni Dinner and the Going Grove Grad Dinner to get in touch with returning alumni as a Grove Society

Sub-committees are responsible for:
Attending Alumni Chapter meetings (held monthly during the school year) and providing updates on behalf of their respective sub-committees
Working with Alumni Chapter to create an annual schedule of events
Coordinating the organization, planning and execution of initiatives and events targeting the alumni community
In conjunction with the school's communications representative, developing and updating an alumni communications plan to help guide and recruit for Alumni Chapter initiative
Acting as an ambassador for the Alumni Chapter while being encouraged to attend all chapter events
Liaising with, supporting and encouraging participation among the alumni community at large (e.g. established alumni, recent grads and current grads) through various activities and initiatives such as Grove Roots Mentorship Program and alumni events such as Going Grove Grad Dinner, Home to the Grove Reunion.
Approximate time commitment is 10- 20 hours per month
