Learning French Outdoors

Students develop their fluency and earn a French credit in this four-and-a-half-week experience, as they learn to pitch tents, build fires, paddle, identify edible plants, imitate bird calls, and much more. The program starts online building core language skills, and is followed by three weeks in-person, learning at Lakefield’s beautiful waterfront campus, while working toward an extended camping expedition to an Ontario wilderness park.
