We are so privileged to be part of the extended LCS community and be in a position to change so many young students in an impactful and meaningful way. It’s important to broaden the reach of our school as the need for tuition assistance becomes more acute. It’s only by having a real cross-section of students on campus that makes us who we are. Without this, you lose the benefit of the true Lakefield experience. ~ TOM STEVENSON ’78, LCS Fundraising Committee Chair
Your decision to support tuition assistance enriches the fabric of our entire community and profoundly impacts the lives of young people who otherwise would not receive a Lakefield education.
We aspire to increase our tuition assistance resources so that a growing number of students can have the opportunity to live and learn at Lakefield. We believe that our community is enriched by the economical and cultural breadth of backgrounds brought by students from all walks of life. As we build on our vision for expanded tuition assistance, we seek to create new and innovative initiatives that support our commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, including exploring opportunities to partner with mission-aligned organizations to welcome more promising students from underrepresented backgrounds to LCS.
