Out For A Paddle

Regatta Day is one of our true celebrations of Camp Lakefield – what could be better than gathering our students, staff, families and alumni at the waterfront for a BBQ, some ice cream (donated by Central Smith Creamery), fun games, canoe and sailing races and a slide down the slip and slide?

The weather cooperated for us once again – sunny skies and very hot! Perfect ingredients to inspire folks to hit the water for the races and just to cool off.

The Grove Society volunteers kept the little ones busy as well with a fun scavenger hunt and later helped them make a garden!

After the fun at the waterfront, the Adventure Challenge began, bringing everyone up to the main campus for the spectacular art show, Strawberry Tea and the final performance of The Laramie Project. A very full day!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make this day a success!

Congratulations to all those who are proudly putting up their 2016 Regatta Day pennants including the winners of the Westwood Cup Sailing Race (Connor Shanahan-Guay '17 and Guillermo Bontoux-Serres '17) and the Adventure Challenge (Lexie Krocker '16, Cameron Maltman '16, Louis Sirois '17 and Delaney Stedman '16).
