Grade 11 Environmental Science Students Cultivate Learning with Living Wall

Ms. Delevadova's Grade 11 Environmental Science class has transformed their classroom into a green oasis with the addition of a remarkable living wall, generously gifted by the Class of 2023 as their Grad Class contribution.

This thoughtful gift not only showcases the Class of 2023's appreciation for LCS's dedication to sustainability but also provides an exciting opportunity for younger students to delve into the world of regenerative agriculture firsthand.

From seed to harvest, our Grade 11s are actively involved in nurturing lettuce and herbs, all while learning about hydroponic technology. As they tend to their green companions, they gain valuable insights into sustainable practices and the interconnectedness of ecosystems.

We eagerly anticipate watching this living wall flourish in the months to come, symbolizing the ongoing commitment of our students to environmental stewardship and hands-on learning. It's a testament to the vibrant spirit of community and collaboration that thrives at Lakefield College School.
