Jr. Boys’ Soccer
The Jr. Boys’ Soccer team lead LCS to victory on one of fall’s most beautiful afternoons. It was a close match between LCS and Crestwood Preparatory College, as both teams were hungry for a win. With no goals scored in the first half, the intensity lingered amongst both teams. It wasn’t until the second half the game changed. Pedro Zapata was the first to break the tie with a beautiful cross from the far right side into the top shelf of the net. Soon after he scored his second goal sneaking past the goalie on the ground. After a quick shift change, Ethan Daynes soon received his first goal of the season off the top left goal post and in. The intensity grew as LCS was eager for the win and even with a 3-0 lead, they remained to keep their head in the game and focus on strategy. Finally, with a last minute ground ball, Paul Prindiville-Porto scored the final goal of the game to make the score 4-0 for LCS. It was a great day for the boys!

Jr. Boys’ Volleyball
On Wednesday, the Jr. Boys’ Volleyball team came out on a roll, winning the first game against Crestwood Preparatory College 26-24. The boys were not able to maintain that pace however, losing the match 3-1 over the following three sets (17-25, 16-25, 13-25). It was a great effort by the boys, and we’re looking forward to their game next Wednesday at home.
