Our teenagers may act like they’ve got it all figured out but, truthfully, they are constantly evaluating their sense of worth from the reactions of others, including their parents. This simple, yet powerful, communication tool can be used immediately to shift the ways we respond to our teens. When we elevate our enthusiasm with a few choice words, the conversation and the entire relationship can deepen.
