Our Grade 12s will be preparing for, and heading out on, their three-night, four-day Algonquin Expedition. They will depart for Algonquin Park on early Wednesday, September 13, and return to campus by the end of the day on Saturday, September 16. Students will travel in house groups with two staff members, canoeing, portaging, preparing meals over camp stoves and sleeping in tents.
To allow you to be fully present and engaged with those around you during these experiences, we will be limiting cell phone usage. We will ensure that lots of photos are taken and made available. This will also be communicated to your parents ahead of time so that they are not expecting communication from you during the day. You may want to let your friends from home know this as well.

At the end of these two weeks, it is our hope that you feel at home within our community and ready to dive into learning and life at The Grove!
