The application process at LCS is multi-faceted—just like you are!

We are committed to ensuring that outstanding students have the opportunity to attend and in order to ensure the best fit for our students, we consider your academic and co-curricular records and potential, as well as the contribution you would make to our community.

We are delighted that you are interested in attending LCS. Please note two important application deadlines for day students applying for the 2023/24 academic year: October 31 and December 5 (details below). 

How to Apply to LCS

2. Complete an Online Application

Complete an application to receive:

Day Applicants－please note the following application review deadlines:
  • October 31, 2022－Application Deadline
  • December 5, 2022－Secondary Application Deadline (pending availability of space)
Applications received after December 5, 2022 will be considered on a rolling basis for enrolment pending availability of space, or for wait pool consideration.

Boarding Applicants－are encouraged to apply at your earliest convenience:
  • Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and spaces are limited

3. Submit Supporting Documents

  • Year-end academic report cards from the past two years and a recent mid-term academic report card from the current academic year, if available
  • Confidential Teacher Reference Form
  • Character Skills Snapshot
  • English proficiency assessment for students whose first language is not English (sent shortly after receipt of your application)

4. Tell Us Your Story

  • Participate in an entrance interview with a member of the Admissions Team upon receipt of your application and academic report cards

5. Receive an Enrolment Decision from LCS

  • We endeavour to provide an admissions decision within two weeks upon completion of the admission process

Lakefield College School is a private, coeducational boarding and day school for students in grades 9 through 12, located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada.

We respectfully acknowledge that Lakefield College School is located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.
