More Than a Game: A Whole-Person Approach to Athletics
At Lakefield College School, we believe being active and involved is essential to wellbeing, personal growth, and human connection.
Whether students are training for competition or discovering new passions, athletics at Lakefield builds strength—in mind, body, and spirit. With nearly 50 co-curricular athletic and fitness programs, exceptional coaches, and a campus known for its extensive sport and waterfront facilities, students learn to set goals, overcome challenges, and experience the joy of being active, every day.
Participation is built into the rhythm of student life.
Every student takes part in at least one kinetic co-curricular each year, across Fall, Winter, and Spring terms, and in a full-year program. From team sports to recreational sports, fitness clubs to outdoor recreation, students find balance, confidence, and joy through staying active and connected.

Team Spirit Runs Deep at Lakefield
From rugby pitches to volleyball courts, Lakefield’s teams thrive on grit, camaraderie, and school spirit. Our athletes learn as much about leadership and character as about the game itself.
With 42 competitive teams across CISAA and OFSAA leagues, athletes push their limits, celebrate their strengths, and take pride in representing their school—together.
