Friday Night Lights Brings the LCS Community Together
Friday Night Lights is about more than the action on the court. It's about the energy in the stands, cheering on friends and teammates, and the school spirit that brings boarding and day students together.
On Friday, October 23, the campus was buzzing as students gathered to support two LCS teams. The 1st Girls Basketball team opened the evening with a 50–32 win over Kenner, followed by a hard-fought 3–2 victory for the 1st Boys Volleyball team.
For students, Friday Night Lights is a chance to enjoy an evening on campus with friends, cheer on their teammates and stay connected beyond the school day. It's also a reminder of the role sport plays in building school spirit and bringing the LCS community together.
Two great team wins made for a memorable evening, but the energy and support in the stands were just as much a part of the night.
