The Strength Switch: Strength-based Parenting

Lakefield College School is pleased to present Dr. Lea Waters, PhD, who is one of the world’s leading experts on Positive Education, Positive Organizations and Strength-Based Parenting and Teaching. Lea is the president of the International Positive Psychology Association, and founding director of the Centre for Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne. Lea turns her science into strength-based strategies to help people thrive.

In her talk, Lea will explore some of the psychological science behind strength-based parenting and share tips about how you can help your children see and use their strengths to help them better reach their full potential, to have high levels of well-being and help protect their mental health. 

The first 25 registrants will receive a free copy of The Strength Switch. Books also available for purchase and signing by the author at the event.

For parents, educators and others who work with teens and children—open to the community.
