Celebrating Our 2026/27 House Leaders
Now in its third year, Lakefield College School's House Leadership Model continues to create meaningful opportunities for students to share their voices, take initiative and contribute to their House communities.
With five leadership roles represented in each House, the model gives students in Grades 9–11 different ways to get involved and make a difference. This year, 60 students are taking on leadership responsibilities, representing their peers, helping guide House meetings and bringing forward ideas and initiatives.
House Leaders meet regularly to exchange ideas, share student feedback and discuss ways to strengthen the House experience. They help facilitate conversations, share announcements and introduce projects that encourage school spirit, sustainability and well-being. These gatherings also give students an opportunity to learn from one another and ensure each House's perspectives are represented.
The model reflects an important part of leadership at LCS: giving students the opportunity to turn their ideas into action. Whether contributing to service initiatives, encouraging sustainable practices or finding new ways to bring their House together, House Leaders help create an environment where students feel connected and have a voice in shaping their school experience.
We are proud of this year's House Leaders and look forward to seeing the ideas, initiative and leadership they bring to their Houses and the wider LCS community.
