LCS Hosts First Fall Post-Secondary Fair for 2026/27

Today, Lakefield College School welcomed representatives from 15 post-secondary institutions to Upper Hadden Hall for the first of this fall’s Post-Secondary Fairs. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about programs and campuses, and begin exploring the possibilities that await after LCS.
The fair featured a diverse mix of institutions from Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Canadian schools included Cambrian College, Centennial College, Saint Mary’s University, St. Francis Xavier University and the University of British Columbia. From the United States, students connected with representatives from Boston University, Fordham University, New York University, the University of California, Davis, University of California Santa Cruz, Knox College and the University of Chicago.

International opportunities included NYU Shanghai and Minerva University along with University of London in the United Kingdom.

With institutions ranging from large research universities and liberal arts programs to specialized colleges and globally focused campuses, the fair offered students a chance to explore a wide range of pathways and consider what they might be looking for in a future educational experience.

Students will have more opportunities to connect with university representatives at upcoming fairs on campus this fall on:
- Thursday October 29
- Thursday November 19

There will also be an opportunity for students to attend the Ontario University Regional Fair at Trent University next month:
- Wednesday October 14, 6-8pm

These events are an important part of the post-secondary planning process at LCS, giving students the chance to gather information, ask questions and begin thinking intentionally about their next steps beyond Lakefield.
