The Annual Grade 11 Newspaper Fashion Show

On Saturday, September 12, our Grade 11s kicked off the year with creativity, collaboration and a little friendly competition at the Annual Newspaper Fashion Show.

Working in teams, students transformed stacks of newspaper, tape and a whole lot of imagination into runway-ready creations. With just 12 minutes to design their looks, each group had to think quickly, work together and bring their theme to life.

Then came the runway. Set to their chosen songs, students showed off everything from dramatic costumes and bold accessories to some truly unexpected fashion choices, with plenty of cheering and laughter along the way.

Awards recognized creativity, teamwork and runway flair, but the real highlight was seeing the Grade 11s embrace the challenge, work together and start the year by having some fun.

It was a great reminder of what happens when creativity, collaboration and a little bit of newspaper come together.
