Summer Adventures Are in Full Swing at LCS Camps

There's still plenty of summer left, and LCS Camps is making the most of every day.

From paddling across Lake Katchewanooka and climbing new heights to cooking delicious meals and exploring the outdoors, campers have spent the first half of the summer trying new things, building confidence, and making lifelong memories. With several weeks still to come, the adventure is far from over.

This summer's lineup features something for every kind of camper. Junior Day Camp has kept younger campers active with classic camp fun, while Waterfront Adventures has campers enjoying life on the lake through paddling, swimming, and games. Outdoor enthusiasts have been learning wilderness skills in Bushcraft Adventures, exploring nature through Grove Adventures, tackling new challenges in Climbing Adventures, creating in the kitchen during Culinary Adventures, and venturing into the backcountry with Canoe Tripping overnight experiences.

This season has also introduced exciting new additions to the LCS Camps experience. One of the highlights has been the launch of a weekly overnight campout for campers aged 11 and up. Hosted at LCS's Northcote Campus, the one-night experience includes dinner around the campfire, sleeping under the stars in tents, and waking up to a campfire breakfast—offering the perfect introduction to overnight camp for campers (and parents!) who may not be ready for a full week away.

At LCS Camps, every day is an opportunity to explore, discover, and grow. Whether campers are learning a new outdoor skill, making friends on the waterfront, or sharing stories around the campfire, they're building confidence, independence, and memories that will last long after summer ends.

With more weeks of camp still ahead, there's plenty more adventure to come. Registration is still open for select programs throughout the remainder of the summer. Register today and join us for an unforgettable LCS Camps experience.
