Grade 12 Algonquin Expedition

What to Expect in The First Weeks of School: September 8-19, 2026
Whether you are a new or returning student, we are so excited that you will be joining us for your Grade 12 year at LCS. Preparations are well underway to welcome you to the school, and to help everyone feel at home at The Grove as you begin your GRAD YEAR!
Just in case you’re starting to wonder what the beginning of your Grad Year will look like, here’s an overview of the first few weeks of September.
Algonquin Expedition Information
The Algonquin Expedition is a three-night, four-day canoe trip in Algonquin Park, a signature LCS tradition that our Grads have enjoyed for decades.
Travelling in their House groups, students are led by experienced and trained LCS staff members. This adventure offers a unique opportunity to build community within their House, develop leadership skills, and create lasting friendships and memories.
All students participating in the Algonquin Expedition must submit the Back Country Canoe Tripping Consent Form, completed alongside other school forms.
If you have any questions, please contact Janice Greenshields.
