FAQs About Opening
We look forward to welcoming all students back to the Grove for the 26/27 School Year. We have designated opening days between September 8 and 10, with classes starting on September 11.

| What can I expect during Orientation/Opening Days? |
Opening Days are a chance for you to meet new friends, reconnect with old friends, learn your way around campus and start to feel at home at LCS. There will also be time for you to unpack and settle in, meet with your Advisor, learn how to navigate and use Edsby, set some intentions for the year and have fun! |
| What medical information does the school need? |
| Please ensure that medical forms are up-to-date through the Magnus Health system. In order to provide safe and responsible care for your child, we cannot allow students to stay at the school without this vital information. |
| Do we need to label our teen’s belongings? |
| Yes, all personal clothing and belongings (books, phone, tech, etc.) should be labelled. This will help us with “lost and found” items during the school year. School uniform items delivered to LCS will be labeled by Top Marks. |
| When does my teenager need their school uniform? |
Please ensure that your child has the proper classroom dress uniform and Formal Dress for the beginning of the school year, by logging into the Top Marks website with our school code LCS01 and ordering online. You will find sizing charts, a catalogue showing the various clothing items available, and Frequently Asked Questions with answers on their website. You may also contact Top Marks by phone 1.800.667.7105 if you require assistance in purchasing uniform items. It is particularly important for Grade 12 students to have their Formal Dress (including navy blazer) during Opening Week, as it is required for grad photos. |
| What items does my teenager need for classes? |
| Students may bring school supplies (binders, pens, paper, etc.) with them or purchase these at School Stores. Each student should also have some kind of “book bag” or knapsack for taking home schoolwork, etc. Any required textbooks will be issued by subject teachers on the first few days of classes. |
