Career Day

Career Day is an annual tradition at The Grove providing students with an opportunity to make a connection between their academic interests and future professional endeavors. In addition to this learning opportunity, Career Day gives students, alumni, parents and friends the occasion to develop meaningful connections for the future.

AI Construction/Trades/College
Co-Founder and CEO
Kyva / Previously Little Building Company

I always enjoyed building things and eventually took a sustainable building course in 2009 to learn environmentally responsible building techniques. Soon after I began my own construction company with limited experience. Fortunately there are now so many educational resources available I was able to learn along the way. After 5 years on my own I partnered up with one of my good friends and morphed into The Little Building Company. We steadily grew this business and eventually bought a property on which to build a shop and office and to gain exposure. Along the way I learned many business about how to operate a business, work with customers, and manage staff. A few years back I helped start The Little Frozen Yogurt Company which is run by my wife (and LCS grad). Last year I was ready for a new challenge and a change so I sold my half of The Little Building Company, and started a new business developing enterprise-grade AI software for businesses and organizations. Even though it’s not with my hands, I’m still building. Now my focus is taking my lessons learned from my previous businesses to help build a new business from the ground up.
