Grove Records

Since September 2020, this groundbreaking co-curricular program has allowed our students to be a part of a recording company under the guidance of JUNO nominated songwriter, producer, and musician, Rob Wells, award-winning musician, Beau Dixon, and LCS teachers, Geoff Bemrose and Sam Wilson.  Students in this program spent their weekly meetings learning about recording technology, making music, and writing and recording demos, which Rob transformed into professional, radio-ready hits!

  • Julianna Cook

"I've been performing since I was younger, so that part has gotten a lot easier for me over the years. • Kate Bemrose

"It's a crazy process that takes a really long time, and you don't understand how many hours it actually takes until you have to do it." Read more (pg. 8).
  • Maxwell Lu

"When I initially heard about the concept of Grove Records last year, I knew that this is something that I would be interested in." Read more (pg. 5).
