Happy 80th Birthday, Neil Young!

Heart of Gold, performed by the LCS community on October 31, 2025

At the heart of our 160-acre regenerative farm sits a 19th-century heritage home, now fully restored thanks to Neil Young’s unforgettable solo benefit concert hosted at our farm on May 23, 2025

From all of us at Lakefield College School—thank you for your music, your generosity, and your belief in our Northcote Farm. This tribute, filmed on Halloween day in our Chapel honours both you and Daryl for your generous support of the restoration of our Canadian Heritage Home, is a gift of gratitude, sung with heart.

The music, generosity, and message of kindness to each other and the earth—echoed in the rain and fields that night—continue to inspire our school community. Thank you!
