On Monday April 27, Lakefield College School hosted its largest-ever University Fair, transforming campus into a vibrant hub of global post-secondary exploration.
With more than
40 universities in attendance representing eight countries—including Canada, the United States, Grenada, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, and France—students were given an unprecedented opportunity to explore a wide range of academic pathways and global destinations.
Throughout the day, university representatives connected directly with students to share insights into admissions processes, program offerings, campus culture, and student life. Tables across campus were busy with conversation as students moved between institutions, asking questions, comparing programs, and gathering information to support their future planning.
For many students, the fair served as an important step in the post-secondary exploration process—offering not only information, but also inspiration. Whether speaking with admissions officers, alumni representatives, or current students from visiting institutions, attendees were able to gain a more personal understanding of what life after LCS might look like in different parts of the world.
Events like the University Fair reflect Lakefield College School’s ongoing commitment to supporting students as they think intentionally about their futures, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and clarity as they consider next steps beyond secondary school.
A sincere thank you to all of the visiting universities for taking the time to join us on campus and for helping make this such a valuable and engaging experience for our students.
