This year, Lakefield College School students challenged themselves by participating in a wide range of mathematics contests organized by the University of Waterloo and other institutions, including the AMC, CIMC, CSMC, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, and Euclid. These contests push students beyond standard classroom problem-solving, rewarding creative thinking and persistence.
CIMC & CSMC
The Canadian Intermediate and Senior Mathematics Contests are long-answer competitions where students are evaluated not only on their final answers but also on the clarity, style, and structure of their solutions.
