Nordic Training Continues

By Mr. Todd Harris

Now that the LCS Nordic season has been finished for a month, committed LCS Nordic team athletes have already begun their training for next season - remotely!

Using TrainingPeaks.com to deliver personalized training plans and athlete support has been a great success with athlete Thomas Larson '22 running a Personal Best 10km race of 38:55 at home, with his family offering support, because his planned attempt at the Kaynor's Sap Run 10km in Vermont was cancelled.

Remote strength training began with three athletes and Coach Harris joining together for a video conference workout, each from the comfort of their own home. Evan Armstrong '23 and Anna Harris '20 agreed that it was more fun than it sounds and look forward to doing more synchronous workouts together in the future.
