Beginning the 2022/23 School Year | Classes, Co-curriculars, and more!

This week marked the official start of the 2022/23 school year. Students immersed themselves in their new schedules, attending their first classes of the year, enjoying their co-curricular programs, making new friends, attending house events, participating in September Intersession and more!

On Monday, students attended their first classes and the first Chapel program of the 2022/23 academic year. On Tuesday, they met with their Advisors for the first time (during Community Time) and learned who will help guide them through the school year. They also attended their first fall term co-curricular activities. The academic week shifted on Wednesday as students across all grades commenced the four-day September Intersession experience, which will conclude on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

It has been a joy to see our new students acclimate and adjust to life on campus, with the help of their seasoned peers and to see our returning students reconnect with their friends and teachers after a months-long break from a typical LCS schedule and routine.

Highlights from this week:
We look forward to the first full academic week, starting on Monday, September 19, 2022!
